Tempranillo GrapeSpanish early ripening grape Tempranillo (means early), and it's a variety for red wines. The thick-skinned Tempranillo produces deep-coloured wines with not too much alcohol that can age without losing too much colour. The wines have a fruity taste and smell, with not much acidity and some of them have the taste and smell of spices and red fruits. Some regions call this grape: Tinto fino, Tinto del país, Tinta de Toro, Tinto de Madrid, Ull de llebre and Cencibel for example. |
